Weather resistance is the durability of a fabric against the various conditions experienced under outdoor use. Hiraoka fabrics are designed to withstand the stresses experienced in nature such as sunlight, wind, rain, humidity, ozone gas and acid rain.

Extensive outdoor exposure testing is carried out on all Hiraoka fabrics. Evaluation of physical properties and any appearance changes are recorded over many years of exposure.
