Hiraoka has developed a range of specialised surface coating treatments to ensure that fabrics have excellent dirt resistance and easy cleaning. The surface treatments are dependant upon the grade of fabric and the application.

These treatments suppress the movement of plasticiser across the surface of the fabric improving dirt resistance. Surface treatments used by Hiraoka are:-

PVDF Resin Coating

Hiraoka has developed a compounding technique that has resulted in a more stable PVC coating that reduces the migration of plasticiser.
